The Sand Dunes Festival was an event for everyone, "free of charge," that the entire community could enjoy, whether they were into cycling, running, or simply looking for a great family day out. The festival had something for everyone. It took place at the newly opened Sand Sports Park, a 20-square-kilometer outdoor space located southeast of King Khalid International Airport and was part of a large-scale linear park in Riyadh.
