    AlAuqir Sand Festival is the first annual family beach sports festival in Saudi Arabia, held at Al-Aqeer Beach, featuring beach soccer tournaments, water sports, and a 5 km walking track. The festival includes interactive zones like wellness areas, kids’ games, and community programs. Over 5 days, it attracted more than 10,000 visitors, numerous teams, and VIP guests from various organizations and sectors, promoting an active lifestyle and establishing Al-Aqeer as a family-friendly sports tourism destination.

The festival had something for everyone. It took place at the newly opened Sand Sports Park, a 20-square-kilometer outdoor space located southeast of King Khalid International Airport and was part of a large-scale linear park in Riyadh.

The Olympics in various cities included 88 teams from different categories of employees. The Olympics were held in Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, and Khamis Mushait from January 26 to February 13, 2025, featuring energetic competitions that highlighted the remarkable talent and creativity of all participants.

    Move With Us" is a Saudi initiative aimed at promoting a healthy and active lifestyle through running events across 13 cities in 2025, featuring fun activities and cash prizes for winners, encouraging everyone to participate and stay active. The Move With Us event reached Al Aqiq, attracting over 1,600 participants of all ages. The atmosphere was fantastic, with families, youth, and children enjoying an energetic and lively experience. The event was honored by the presence of the Governor and the Regional Secretary, who actively participated in the race, adding a special sense of excitement and community spirit. A special highlight of the event was the activation of the sports groups area, promoting teamwork and friendly competition. Additionally, the event featured an awareness program on breast cancer, raising health awareness and emphasizing the importance of early detection. The event truly showcased the community’s commitment to a healthy and active lifestyle, combining sports, awareness, and fun in a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere.

    Neighborhood Clubs Project 2025-2026 - Nadena

    Aligned with the Human Capability Development Program and the Ministry of Education, Nadena initiative provides a unified platform that elevates youth capability through sports, education, and innovation. This initiative aims to equip and operate community clubs that utilize students’ and community members’ time through various events, programs, and educational and recreational activities. It seeks to prepare these clubs with the proper facilities and trained staff to provide services after official school hours throughout the year. The initiative activated 220 schools across 16 educational regions, focusing on utilizing school facilities outside school hours to boost activities and skill development for over 150,000 students.
